When i got up in the morning today a lot of tasks were running in my mind which i had set out to achieve in a day, and yes not to mention along with a 2 year old kid! I have always been very optimistic of my capabilities and very ambitious at the same time, even though m well aware than along with a kid even 50% is good percentage to achieve!
Anyways as usual i sat in my balcony soon after getting up to relax for few minutes along with my son. In a split second i saw my son throwing clothes hanging up for drying, off the balcony! That is his usual game...yes pretty much :/ Annoyed as i was i quickly took him inside and went downstairs to pick up those things.
And then i witnessed a very sad picture of a sparrow lying dead on the cemented floor of the parking. Its feathers were not damaged which obviously proves that the reason was something else. It just broke my heart to see something like this in the morning. Well obviously i couldn't leave it just like that, so i went down again, along with a newspaper and wood stick to bury it safely in the society's small garden space.
Many of us have witnessed this in our lives, either on a road side or in our personal spaces of lawns or gardens. The reason for this apart from accidents that are unavoidable is SUMMER SEASON. Of course we can't do much about the weather, but as responsible humans we can place water bowls in a few places like our gardens or spaces outside windows or common areas of the society or community where we live. It takes hardly few minutes but will give you a positive feeling which will make much more happy and trust me kindness always creates ripple effect .This simple act can save lives of many creatures who are helpless when it comes to seeking basic necessities to survive on this planet.
We are cutting tress to build beautiful buildings and spaces but are dooming ourselves to a much dangerous scenario.
It is not that difficult to be a environmental contributor or do things that can help other species survive better.
I hope every reader takes steps to do their small bit, after all more the number of helping hands the better it is for everyone!
